DJ: Advanced Optics Electronics Files 10-SB to Become Fully Reporting;

Technology Partner, BioModa, Inc., Initiates Program to
Market Lung Cancer Test to The People's Republic of China

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.--(BW HealthWire)--July 1, 1998--Advanced Optics
Electronics, Inc. (OTC BB:ADOT) announced today they have filed Form 10-SB
with the SEC to become a fully reporting company.
Advanced Optics considers this SEC filing to be a significant step toward
the Company's goal of a full NASDAQ listing. As a fully reporting company,
Advanced Optics also becomes a more credible market candidate, capable of
attracting investment analyst coverage, thus ensuring better market support
both domestically and internationally.
Advanced Optics also announced today that their technology partner, BioModa,
Inc. has secured additional technology patents in Australia and with the
Russian Federation, and has patents pending in 14 other countries. These
patents further protect BioModa's proprietary early detection test for lung
cancer and BioModa's proprietary lung cancer treatment program.
BioModa, Inc., after two years of negotiations, has additionally embarked on
a new program in cooperation with the Shanghai Center on New Drug
Development in The People's Republic of China (PRC). BioModa will work with
the Shanghai Center (owned jointly by the city of Shanghai and the Chinese
Government) to provide Shanghai and the country of China with an economical
turn-key medical package that will accurately diagnose various forms of lung
cancer up to six years earlier than any test currently available.
The objective of this program is to address an urgent need among the Chinese
population. The PRC reports that over 900,000 Chinese people die each year
from lung cancer. Although China has over 300 million smokers, a large
number of lung cancer cases can be attributed to working in factories where
caustic chemicals and noxious fumes are found.
