Jonathan and all. The apparent soundness of the technology is one of the few things keeping me hopeful for prln so I am glad, Jonathan, you have arcticulated this so well. I also have thoughts along the lines of the several others wondering about possible manipulation aimed to take advantage of a lower stock price. While it would suggest the ultimate in greed and psychopathy this is nothing new in the market, as Robin's reference indicates. Yet it would seem like a risky "road" to take unless there is an exceptionally high level of greed operating here since basic survival is being threatened (unless someone knows better or, perhaps someone only thinks they know better). At the same time, it seems very strange that a company which has a PR firm and is operating in this age of "spin doctors" has been putting out press releases that couldn't possibly have been written to more effectively drive people out of a stock. Anyone one of us who have just read the newspapers for the past 10 years in this age of "spin" could have written better press releases. The last one where they suddenly are speaking of "further evaluation" of a "proposed product" is the archetypal example of this. Michael suggested that "further evaluation" may be a generic term to cover insignificant issues. But if so why use language that could suggest problems in the foundation of the structure and scare the hell out of people. There is, indeed, something strange going on here. Again, it is hard too distinguish how much of it is due to that constant and pervasive human companion incompetence, how much of it may be manipulation in the service of unusually intense greed, or to other strange factors we don't yet know about.
I hope someday some insider will write one of those "novels" that is able to tell more of the truth than official accounts. At any rate, it is not worth it for me to sell here. And while there seem to be enough stange things going on here that sudden or not so sudden reversal and sucess or even spectacular success are still not out of the question, at this point, even should there be a reversal leading to great riches, I would rather be invested in a company with some integrity and focused on bettering the lot of mankind and willing and able to do so, lets say the old fashioned way, through honest work. Not much of this seems to apply to prln currently.
