T - thanks for the digging. Very helpful.

Of course, Bollinger's bear market scenario may not happen and none of this talk will matter. And, while I do give it great credibility, I am little better prepared for having that sentiment than if I did not. I have a few shorts but they would amount to little in a meltdown(profits stops when shorted stocks go to zero). I fear if he is correct, I'll go down with the rest. My hope and plan is that such doom may be delayed for those who stay free from debt, have some liquid assets (i.e. cash), and the prospects of continued income (i.e. a job -- even in the depths of the thirties depression over 2/3s of employable folks were working). However, the prospect of Wall Street as a ghost town would haunt me.

best wishes, Kip
