I don't bother arguing about if it was for oil. If it was, we would control the fields by now and the pipelines would be secured. If we ever truly turned on the awesome power of the US Military onto a country such as Iraq, they would not still be there.

So all the crap about how we are occupiers, how we want the oil, how we want this, how we want that, is all BS. If we wanted it, we would take it and be the imperialists these people claim we are. As it is, we are simply trying to set them up with a bit of a democratic side to their theocracy.
