Tyhee announces extension of Ormsby Zone from diamond drilling

VANCOUVER, Nov. 17 /CNW/ - Tyhee Development Corp. (TSX Venture, TDC) today announced
that diamond drilling has intersected long zones of
gold mineralization, extending the Ormsby Zone to the south. Drillholes include:
95 metres grading 1.785 grams per tonne gold in NDM361, including 43.5 metres grading 2.773 gpt gold
and 9.0 metres grading 6.064 gpt gold.
Dr. David Webb, P.Geol., Tyhee's President and CEO, said "we are very encouraged by these results.
The drillholes are located to the south of the existing resource and have the potential to significantly broaden the resource at the Ormsby Zone.
These drillholes will add gold to the south, where the Ormsby Zone remains open. We continue to be active in this area, with additional drillholes currently being completed. Results from these drillholes will be reported as they are received."

Dr. Webb added that, "Tyhee remains active on the Yellowknife Gold Project, with two diamond drills continuing to operate 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. As of November 13, 2006 Tyhee has completed over 26,000 metres in 133 diamond drillholes in 2006. Assays are pending on 43 drillholes, including a backlog of 24 drillholes."

The Ormsby North Extension Zone continues to return gold values. The recent series of drillholes are testing the eastern extremities of the Ormsby North Extension.

A preliminary economic evaluation of the Yellowknife Gold Project is in progress with results expected by year end. Details from this work will be used to establish parameters required for final submission of Tyhee's application to the regulatory authorities in Yellowknife for operating permits.
Drill cores are sawn along their entire length, with one half of the core submitted for analysis and the other half retained on site for archival purposes. Samples are submitted to Acme Analytical Laboratory for preparation and analysis. Blank samples, duplicate samples (riffled splits of coarse crush) and repeat analyses are conducted in addition to analyses of gold standard samples. All samples are analyzed by fire assay techniques on 30 gram aliquots with ICP-ES finish.
