| Barbara expressed her thanksgiving to us for the thoughtful acts of prayer. Her husband, I found out, is recovering from surgery and I am not sure if there will be follow up treatments or chemo. His name is Michael, so Lord we ask that Michael be totally delivered, we ask for and expect that you, Lord, will heal Michael and touch his body, heart, mind, and soul. All we ask in Christ name. Tomorrow Lord is Yom Kipper, a day of judgement when the high priest would enter the Holy of Holies , one time each a year, to offer You a sacrifice. For those not cleansed by the blood of Jesus it is a day when the blood of a goat will no longer appease you, or satisfy you , or quell your anger over our sins. In fact we will be judged for our evil. But by Jesus we escape the judgement the same way the scapegoat escaped. Tomorrow, for those still under the old laws, which we believe is all those that have not accepted the grace provided us in Christ it is a reminder that judgement will come to this sinful world, the soil thereof, the fish of the seas, the trees, the birds, and all the inhabitants of the earth..In Christ name .Amen. |
