I agree, loss of the OEM alone isn't the biggest worry. Think about Tamagotchi and those stupid virtual pets. They were invented by Bandai, but Tiger came in, cloned it with Giga Pets, and outsold Bandai 3 to 1 here in the US. That $100 million of sales was taken away from Bandai. Tiger may not be as original as Radica, but what happens if they clone Radica products and use their better Hasbro distribution to take sales away from Radica? This is a legitimate concern, and given Tiger's history, a likely scenario to happen, IMHO. The impact of this may be to slow Radica's growth in the future, and that is why some on Wall Street view the Hasbro/Tiger merger as a long-term negative for Radica.
