Indeed, in the US, especially in the so-called Bible Belt, people don't even distinguish between religion and politics.... Clue:

I think a backlash is coming. I think people are growing tired of the evangelicals and their histrionics. I am not even sure they are that big a minority. Its just that they've gained considerable power under this president.
