The thesis of what is going on in this country that is so horrible, is not the racism directed at Obama. That is mostly a distraction, as bad as it is. It is the undermining of our democracy for the benefit of the plutocrats, military industrial complex, corporations and the 1%.

Income inequality designed by the plutocrats is the Headline News. "Follow the money". Racism continues to get better in this country , while income inequality worsens every day, week and month. The destruction of the new deal, unions and middle class and the worsening of the lot of the poor.

The plutocrats use the racist's for their own purposes that actually has nothing to do with racism, but everything to do with taking over control of the country for their purposes. Plutocrats are not necessarily racist (it is a tool they use), they are more interested in power and money and elitism.

The primary danger, is the plutocrats using the Republicans to literally shape this country to benefit the 1%. They are spending hundreds of millions (billions?) of dollars across the country to shape every election and even propositions, all the way down to the state and even local level.

The plutocrats are using the pubs to pack the courts with friendly judges; to get rid of taxes (just look at the spending in Alaska) to stop a proposition to repeal a recent tax cut the pubs gave to the oil companies.

And Wall street and corporations and rich, intimidating even local politicians to get what they want, and flooding the congress with lobbyists and pubs with campaign contributions.

Poverty even got worse under Clinton because of bogus welfare reform he felt necessary to win the election: and 08 was certainly precipitated by elimination of Glass Steagall.
