Some are pretty idealistic, others are in it for the ride. I don't think Cheney has an idealistic bone in his body, I think Scooter does. I don't think Rove does. I think Dubya has his ideals, but most of them aren't in play. He certainly doesn't have a problem with the exercise of privilege. So what if average people get fleeced? They aren't his people anyway...
