WOW! I was just over on the Robin Dayne thread and I must say you guys are relentless! Most impressive indeed. I agree that while the emotional side of trading is critical, we have all heard it before (The Disciplined Trader, Trading for a Living, Market Wizards, etc...) It is also amazing to me that every guru out there somehow has ten golden rules of trading, no more, no less. Damned convienent IMHO! All these rules seem to ignore the basic mechanics of the modern remote trader. I think it is high time someone creates a set of ten golden rules for the trader of 1999. Perhaps: "If your SOES order remains unfilled for over 7 seconds, beware, by the time it gets filled you could very well have been caught at a market reversal." or "If you think you can get filled at the bid with ISLD as the market is running, it is time to consider another profession." I could probably think of a few more (alot more than ten!)
