When one goes outside the safety of social mores and norms and lives in an existential void, it is easy to get lost. No one escapes life's illusions. What helps most for we liberals that wander the edge of knowledge where it can get cold and lonely, and that is indeed what we are doing, collectively, is for each of us to check each others sanity, be supportive and do our best to be constructive in our support. I expose myself to the kids for their feedback as they know me best, and love me. And I respect their opinions. I got this from my son in law the scientist, after sending my ideas about the need for female rule to the kids . As a scientist he is as serious as a heart attack, and brave. He does not have a shallow bone in his body. He seems to also know we males need to give it up to the women, because he is dedicated to the truth. He surprised me with this note. "I agree Chuck - we've run things for long enough and it hasn't gone all that well.". Drew
