A note from the TSC site:

"Given Dell's (DELL:Nasdaq) warning, I think at some point it is going to have to bite the bullet and offer AMD (AMD:NYSE) chips in its PCs and servers. AMD is clearly doing very well on the server side, and on the consumer side, AMD-equipped PCs are cheaper than equivalents with Intel (INTC:Nasdaq) chips and offer the same or better performance. By using AMD chips, competitors can undercut Dell on price, especially when it comes to the low end. AMD doesn't have the capacity to support Dell, but going forward this is an option Dell must consider, especially if Intel botches its next line of server chips."
