just stunning....made the LA Times a paper for an elite few....and then couldn't figure out why circulation plunged...never understood why the Trib went along with it... they very deliberately moved out the moderate democrats, that were screaming liberals in the 70's and 80's...paid them to retire early... also, turned it into a paper for the new Hispanic majority...that didn't buy papers written in English... so elitist...with so narrow an appeal...
