Every other generation in American history raised revenue to pay for what it spent until Reagan.

So let's go back to Reagan. In 1984 the US economy grew over 7%. Did all that growth pay for the spending and the tax cuts? No. The deficit in that year was over $100 billion more than when Carter was in office. We do know the facts. We know tax cuts create debt. Reagan never came close to balancing the budget and left office with deficits far higher than when he was sworn in.
The only question we have to ask ourselves is this one. Is it okay to create long-term debt in exchange for short-term growth? Republican votes consistently say yes. Bankrupt our children so we don't have to pay our own bills and we can create the illusion of growth.

This is the dumbest and most immoral generation in Americans history. Slave owners (for example) didn't know any better. Republicans know every tax cut always explode the debt and they don't care.
