Indeed, they hate everything and everyone which contradicts their superstition--their Absolute Need to be Absolutely Right. They have staked their lives and their pathetic souls on one horse: They are Absolutely Right and Joshua is the greatest genocidal murderer in all of history (outside of Yahweh)…or they are NOTHING! In their minds, life can have no personal meaning. They need to mean something to some fairy tale spaghetti monster who is herding them and loving them the way we love and herd our sheep.
