Regarding conference calls, the typical procedure is to call
the company's investor relations prior to the day of the call
and ask for the conference call number. This is typically the
phone number of a registration service ... for some automated
services you need an additional call number to specify which
call you want to join (or listen to the recording of).

Then you call the CC number and sign up to participate in the
call ... costs nothing. Typically there is a listen-only
session in which the management reports, followed by a question
session in which listeners can queue up to ask questions ...
generally the analysts end up going first ... followed by random
bozos like us.
