Jackie,

Well said. Wish I were that articulate. One thing I would like to bring to bear on the whole equation. I believe that most people would consider the present blood supply, after undergoing the in-depth screening of today's modern science, to be relatively safe. But it is my understanding that there is no screening at all for HHV-6, due to the fact that it is present in the blood stream of 95 percent of all adults. However there are two strains of HHV-6. They are somewhat different. Stain A is the bad one. Perhaps this url would explain a little better.
library.jri.org
aspin.asu.edu
refuse-resist.com

This is just one example of possible contaminents in our presently SAFE blood supply that are not being screened out.

Would be interested in any comments.

Regards,

Gerry
