TI Demonstrates Video Over DSL at Supercomm 2001
DSL, WLAN, VoIP, Cable, Optical Wireless and Other Broadband Technologies On Display in TI Booth #7338
DALLAS, June 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Instruments Incorporated (NYSE: TXN - news; TI), a leader in providing complete broadband solutions for the home and office, will demonstrate video over ADSL at Supercomm 2001 in Atlanta June 5-7. Using video compression, the demonstration will show high-quality digital video delivered across TI's in-booth DSL network consisting of TI's AC5 central office chipset and AP5 PCI ADSL modem chipset connected to a TI digital light processing (DLP(TM))-enabled HDTV to display full motion audio and video that is expected to be the next revenue generating service for DSL service providers.

The TI booth, #7338 in the Atlanta Convention Center, will also highlight several other leading broadband solutions from TI, including:

DSL - AC5 octal DSL infrastructure chipset connected to several CPE modems demonstrating performance interoperability at both ends of the wire; customer DSLAMs connected to TI's AU5 CPE chipset; AR5 ADSL chipset for routers, IADs and RGs, as well as other customer products
