"<<The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.>>
"You sound like you know more than I do. So tell me, why is the person a fool who said there is no God?"
The heart is the essence of man, the place where all men meet God. Men have two competing voices within their hearts, their own, and the voice of conscience. Man's voice strives to satisfy the earthly man, the other voice the spiritual man. It's there that God meets and communicates with man. When man denies that second loud protesting voice within, the voice of conscience, he denies the reality that for every effect there is a cause. He who hears a voice, but denies the existence of a speaker, is irrational. So the man who says in his heart, There is no God, must be a fool because he denies the reality that exists within his own heart. |
