Jeb Bush illegally cut 57,700 voters off the rolls in 2000, mostly minority democrats, many thousands of them perfectly legal Gore voters who would have voted if they'd been allowed to. For this, Jeb was sued by the NAACP and settled out of court. He was supposed to stop this practice per the settlement, but did it again in 2002, cutting 97,000 voters off, then tried it again this year, cutting more than 40,000 (almost all African Americans this time). See recent Miami Herald reports about Jeb's new voter roll purge plans for 2004 which he was caught red-handed for, offered up some lame excuse and is now busted, with Senator Bill Nelson holding his nose to the flames until he stops cheating.
