Bizarre? No, he was incompetent.

Its also an example of what the commisar does to someone who is no longer in favor. Everyone from the group that doesn't talk starts talking freely about the excommunicated individual. But don't let it bother you........it only effects the excommunicated one.

Of course, there are the few million people he screwed up but they're poor and many of them are Dems. No worries!
