In this kind of a market, even if you make the wrong decision, a day or two later, even an hour or two later, you can look like a wizard. The one thing I've noticed about this market is it's kind like South Florida weather, if you don't like it, wait a little while, it will change. Sometimes a hard and fast stop is not your friend. Trading stocks with familiar patterns helps to know when to hold or fold. I am trading smaller lots so I can hang onto some trades that may take take a day or two to pan out. Often the payback is worth waiting for. It also allows me to buid a position, like I did with AMAT, PMCS, and BRCM. With all the good news from ONIS, it was bound to pop, even with insider sales abounding. It was just a matter of time.
I am still very bearish on the communication semi's such as BRCM and PMCS. I see any bounce as a reason to get short or buy Puts. Mister Magoo has better visibility than the companies these guys depend on.
