Lee.....

<<<My advice is be honest with yourself. Don't rationalize and say I had a bad year or I can do better in this new style market etc but be honest. Go through your records and figure out what your rate of return has been on your cash over the last few years.>>>

Honestly, I am very bearish. I can't believe the pundits have the nerve to declare a recovery at hand, shame on them(for the 5th or 6th time) <NFG>. I haven't traded for about a year now, I was realized this market was fooling a lot of people, I'm in no rush, the sidelines are safe. Trading is a part time gig for me. Also, I have been busy general contracting my addition, a man's gotta know his limitations <g>. I follow this board and pretty much am in agreement that this will all end badly. My 401K has been in fixed acct. since Nov. 99, so I didn't take the bath that most Joe 3packs did.

I'm thinking long term here. I can handle a higher mortgage fairly easily. I just think having more cash at today's cheap rates may be beneficial when the firesales start. Appreciate your response.
