Frank, No argument there. Personal video on the Net will be huge once the pipelines get a lot wider. Technology exists to make it happen. My read is that sports programming will drive HDTV and the DBS companies will be the first transmitters of HDTV content. Only HDTV gives you the "at the ballpark" experience. HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and pay-per-view films also will be major beneficiaries of HDTV transmissions. They'll be able to gain market differentiation and obtain premium pricing for delivering premium-quality audio and visual content. I've witnessed HDTV at Zenith's headquarters. It blew me right out of my seat....appeared almost to be reality! 3-D, Smellavision models next? Can't wait to pick up Zenith's new 64"w HDTV to view the Miami Heat, Miami Dolphins and our World-Champion Florida Marlins! CUBE/Diva and Zenith are "best of breed" partners more on the network side than the CE side. Let's hope they both have a great '98 with many more STB and cable modem contracts to be announced. Hope you and all on the CUBE board had a great Thanksgiving.
