thank you for responding to my e-mail. the position is for analyst in the securities division. you should know that analyst in this case is the title given to new hires during their first two years on the job. my responsibilities as stated by the interviewer is primarily to buy and sell stock. during the interview i stated that i was not interested in cold calling.

please explain how i will make lots of money if the person who interviewed me is only making a 44,000 salary? i love to trade stocks, i hate engineering (which is my degree), and i like to make money...

the dilemma is, i can take an engineering position and make 50,000 to start with job security, or i can take the goldman sachs position with low pay and enjoy it as long as my primary duty is to invest in stocks and not to recruit clients.

i would appreciate your input on this matter.

thank you,

Saju
