Georgia might wind up being a surprise swing state this year. There hasn't been a poll out of Georgia in months, but the last one had Bush only +3. Also, a lot of African Americans are apparently moving back to Georgia, after a generations living up north, as economic conditions improve and they find a vibrant community. Some southern states are surprisingly close, such as GA, TN, NC, and AR. Bush will have a major headache if those states start going Kerry's way, which they just might if Kerry picks John Edwards for VP.
