What evidence? Answer some specific questions for me. The best "eye witness" document I know is the fourth (Joannine) gospel which claims to be by an eyewitness who refuses to reveal his name. The author claims he is the disciple "whom Jesus loved." He claims he laid on Jesus breast at dinner. What do these statements mean? If you are willing to discuss these reasonably, we can start a serious discussion of this most important book. The only one by a contemporaneous observer (I reject Paul's (who never claimed to see 3D Jesus) witness) who believes that Jesus was not only messiach but God. I am not interested in discussing rhetoric. Just historical documents.
