Unfortunately, the flyer I got from the store lists only the configurations, without any model numbers. But I just checked out the Acer website to investigate.

It looks like the computer store is doing custom configurations, as I do not see any machines with Zip standard. However, if you click the link for Storage from that home page, you will see two options listed. Maxtor hard drives, and Iomega Zip drives and disks. But it looks like they're offering only parallel-port drives.

I will drop by the store and see if I can verify that they are customizing the basic Acer systems, or find out what the scoop is.
