It might helpful if instead of discussing the report here, subscribers go over to the Gilder site itself. Right now one does not even have to subscribe to yield the benefits of the report--just lurk and find out.

Not all subscribers regularly read this thread. This, unfortunately results in people trying to be real "helpful" by copying information in the newsletter to the respective stock threads and boards as soon as they read the current edition online. Just a few minutes ago I checked the JDSU thread and yep, a quote from the latest report was posted there, with a reply of a big thanks from someone who obviously does not subscribe to the report.

I would like to see the Gilder people plaster at the top of their reports: "This material is protected by copyright. Subscribers may not copy any information by any medium without permission in writing from the editors."

Why bother paying for the report when all the information is shared within a day (at most) of its release? I am a LTB&H type and do not use the report to pounce for a quick hit, so why bother subscribing now that I can get the information I ultimately want to find out anyway--for free.

Grumbling up in New England-

Lynn
