The foal is a roan. His momma is a mostly white tricolored paint. His daddy was a black walker. Both tended to through black and momma tended to through paints. He's a roan. Go figure. But he is very previous on growing up. He could dodge momma at 2 days. Wore her out. He's twice the size of his 1/2 sisters that were kept stalled. He's gentle and easily handled, doesn't spook and is about to be started in dressage. I thought he should be a penning horse. That could come later. I enjoyed Western Horseman more than my wife and she is the horse person. Then again I get called for emergencies so I should renew it. I love the Mignay cartoons and the poetry. I heard there is a week long trail drive in Montana in September.
