I didn't even try this. No way I'm going to edit the registry just to move rules and signatures. IMHO it's incredibly arrogant of Microsoft to make this so difficult. I copied all my signatures to Notepad and then copied them back into Outlook Express on the new machine. I retyped all the rules. Took me 2 hours for both.

I don't know roadrunner from wiley coyote. I didn't start receiving email on the new machine until I had transferred all the old ones. However, if what you are worried about is losing the new emails on the new machine, you could just create a new folder under your Inbox, move all the new emails there, then move then back to the Inbox after the transfer.
