LOL! Don’t be stupid. The part in quotation marks is the quote. DUH! Clearly, he did say and did mean to say that the majority of Theologians and Historians consider the fiction of Herod as given in the bible to be just that: ahistorical and completely fabricated. There is not any disagreement as to the fact that he takes a minority position (as a devoted Christian) and disagrees with the majority opinion.
