I dont think the Livingston deal is closed by LU as yet. They probably can back out of it with some penalty payment of a few tens of millions of dollars. Heck, they would be getting close to 600 million in cash from Ascends coffers. If they can pay $35 for Octel which is in a low growth arena they can bloody well pay $45-50 for Ass-end or get their asses kicked by Mory to go and fetch some more cashola. As Chi-X would say after some bad-ass whiskey, There will be no hoola till there is more moola :-) Enjoy the joy till it lasts but with the finger on the trigger button to bail out, just in case this is yet another Wall Street production. -hitesh
