Cases..ATX..NLX..SCSI tower

I am not concerned about the PC Power and Cooling ATX full tower becoming obsolete if the NLX outdates ATX. This tower will make an excellent SCSI tower once it has played out it's use as a computer tower. It has eight full size drive bays. They are all accessible from the outside. You could put eight SCSI CDROM's in this unit or a mixture of harddrives and CDROM or...DVD or...

I have already started playing with the SCSI tower concept. I have five IBM towers which are a bit dated. I am ravaging three of them to make the first two better. I am using one of the cases/power supplies as a depository for the harddrives and CDROM's. I am moving an extra SCSI card from one of the towers to the other unit and then running the cable out of one case and into the other. I have not had any trouble configuing the SCSI devices. Actually I don't configure them at all. I just change a SCSI ID , plug them in and they work!

I am not done yet but it looks like it will work without a problem.

I plan on the same thing for my home computer. I don't like constantly changing CD's. I am also forever running out of harddrive space.
