"competent authorities"
Obviously, the authorities have not been competent in the past.
How will we know when they are competent in the future?
You again say, "the populace supports the Administration", but how is that? All you or we know are the poll numbers we are told about. What else are you referring to?
How do high poll numbers support the administration? Only by an upcoming election, that's it, right? And by paying taxes, or something, I suppose.
But, since this is a government war, not a war engaged by civilians, this idea of "the main thing is support" makes no sense whatever.
In particular, the "Homeland Defense" has been unable to proffer any use for the civilian population, other than as "targets". The blood banks, suspicious reports, first aid and so on you would think would be organized, and we'd see flyers on our doors and notices in our newspapers.
The fact that we don't is either incompetence or irrelevance of the populace. |
