Have been listening this morning to IMUS in the MORNING. He has been discussing this for over an hour . His take and he is not a liberal but really more moderate or tries to be.

He likes Dan Rather as I do and not for the thing that has just occurred but because of his contribution to journalism over the years.. It seems Dan had just returned from the Republican Convention and from covering hurricanes and never read that stuff handed to him. He had a fiduciary responsibility to do so but nevertheless he did not. He trusted his team that they had the facts . He was let down big time and when he backed up what he had presented he still trusted them. Well it seems that there is still more to be uncovered as the one woman, Marcy or someone said that there were higher ups involved. Sounds like the Ari Gahrib thing... Who is responsible... Higher ups, the grunts, the immediate officers.. ??

Anyway there is house cleaning at CBS.. so maybe the Lindy Bill thread will not have to to cBS anymore... I hope not.

On the other side of the news Robert Murdoch that epitome of right wing slanting has bought out more radio and TV stations. There will be a day we will have to read foreign news papers to really see the TRUTH to things as it will all be slanted. Fortunately for FOX the have not made an egregious error like CBS on this story.
