Religious extremists and the feeling we can use all the Arab oil we want is at the heart of all evils in the ME. The religious extremist on all sides. Which is why we need to defuse not only the radical Islamists, but also the radical rightwing Jews and radical rightwing Christians. Keep them all out of our governments and never underestimate their danger to us. They're all basically nuts.

meanwhile, the good/bad old days of Arab oil imperialism are over. The Iraq War was the last gasp. We have 20 years max to get off the stuff. Permanently.
