Whenever I think about the inflation argument, I think about the massive global overcapacity. How on earth will they raise prices against a backdrop of overindebted consumers, declining wages, and oversupply at the retail level? I do think the debate does emphasises how the US is sailing in highly unstable and uncharted waters.
