So Iraq was a threat to us? With their non-existent Air Force, decrepit Navy, pathetic Scud missiles with 12-mile ranges (if they could be launched at all) and a few hundred thousand soldiers with pea-shooters and slingshots?! If you still insist that they were formidable, you will have to explain why they folded up in March 2003 and also will have to explain how the Kurds managed to be autonomous and Saddam was not able to invade them.
