I like the following statements from the article: - New product announcements to be made every two to three weeks. - Making prices very competetive to accelerate adoption of faster networking technologies. - Gigabit should eventually take over the "backbone" of networking, which "should push Fast Ethernet down to the desktop" It appears however that the release of GE products by Intel is a ways off in the future. It sounds like Intel wants to first build its presence in the FE market.
