Re: D-VCRs and DVD-RAM........................... Let's go to the audio analogy. Some thought that CDs would never take of because they were not recordable. Recordable digital audio tape (DAT) didn't make a dent in the sudio CD market. Disc is inherently better than tape because of the ease of access (fast-forward, rewind), and the low media cost and long life of the disc. Tape -- even digital tape -- has dropouts. I don't agree with Dvorak -- again.
