Of course there IS a difference between WW2 and the 2003 US-Iraq war. Hitler was annexing country after country then. Saddam was not able to exercise control even the Kurds in his own country. Hitler had to be stopped. Saddam was contained. Hitler was a real threat. Saddam was not even a paper tiger.
