I would prefer to keep this thread to videoconferencing if all participants would agree and cooperate. I know it is necessary at times to diverge a bit, but my goal was to spawn a concentrated discussion on the players in the videoconferencing arena - that being defined as point-to-point or multipoint realtime video "calls". The video entertainment and xDSL delivery mechanisms seem to have their own threads on SI. Since I believe this market is about to explode, I would like us all to be able to pick the winners from the group that right now includes at least INTC, PCTL, VSVR, CLIX, CFON and VTEL.
