They are not the blundering behemoth that IBM was, and their purchases have shown, IMHO, remarkable insight into the near and intermediate future of network physiology and potential.

Isn't it easier for the high-end leader to expand downward than vice-versa, especially when the distinctions (between low and high) are dwarfed by the massive potential? Personally, I believe that one could own any one of four or five network companies and make excellent money on all...
