Addi, you and others are SUN fanatics who will learn
the hard way. 5 years ago we bought SUNs b/c they we were simply
the fastest machine out there for doing our number crunching
modeling (i.e. finite element analyses), however, PCs are nearly as fast, cheaper, and sotware and maintenance is cheaper.
Simply buy some third-party NFS to handle the rest.
Face reality: PCs will slowly replace SUNs. Beware.
