Here in Chicago, Ameritech has been offering ADSL service for quite some time. The monthly subsciption runs at $49.99 a month plus $150 first time installation fee. ADSL becomes just another way for a customer to reach internet: 56K, ISDN, and this. But keep in mind, @Home service offers internet access over your cable line at $39.99 and you get 10x faster speed than ASDL. There is nothing new about ADSL and its capabilities but today's stock action is typical PUMP & DUMP which is driven by pure greed and a small float. There is a big write-up at Briefing.com on AVCO and after reading the article, I became more convinced the stock price is not going to remain that high. Protect your profit!
