Ed Asner is simply talking about Bush's plan for social security. If I were seniors, I would be scared too since Bush hasn't explained where is going to get the missing "trillion dollars" to pay current retiree benefits(Just like you couldn't explain). Also, you can bet people are glad that they didn't have their retirement money invested in the stock market the past six months. Regarding the tax increase, look what Clinton/Gore inherited from the previous Bush administration. A fiscal mess/recession. Looks like they did a great job getting us out of President Bush's mess. And finally, I don't have to answer your last question because it has nothing to do with this election.
