ABAT in the news today (and moving up a decent amount)...

NEW YORK, May 31, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Advanced Battery Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ABAT), a developer and manufacturer of rechargeable Polymer-Lithium-Ion (PLI) batteries, today announced its forecast
for second and third quarter shipments from its recently completed factory in Harbin, China. Second quarter shipments are forecasted at $3 million. Third quarter shipments are forecasted at $12 million.

ABAT batteries shipped in the second and third quarters will be used in electric vehicles manufactured in Taiwan, laptop computers made in Hong Kong, and digital cameras made in China. These shipments also include miner's lamps for which ABAT manufactures the entire product, including the PLI battery. "We're very pleased with these forecasts because they involve both the continuous expansion of our customer base and include a variety of applications for our PLI battery," commented Mr. Zhiguo Fu, Chairman of ABAT.
