If a specific appointee is basically outright lying than you have a problem. I was speaking in general not about any specific appointee. Short of lying, spin is just part of the political process. None of which is really all that relevant to the point that senior appointees should have roughly the same opinion as the president, on major issues that they have policy responsibility over.
